64 - Tackling food insecurity in urban spaces
What this challenge is about
This Challenge aims to understand and address the root causes of contemporary food insecurity in cities across the UK, with approximately 5 million people facing some degree of food insecurity, especially people from Black, Asian, and Ethnic Minority communities. The project will identify who is most affected by food insecurity, examine how food governance impacts patterns of urban food insecurity, and identify participatory policy recommendations to improve people's health and wellbeing.
