Coastlines

Coastlines proposes to reinvigorate the identity and prosperity of coastal communities through unleashing the power of literary creativity. Conceived in relation to the coast-path to be completed in 2024 around the entirety of England’s borders, Coastlines will explore the ways in which the coastline of Britain has been written in the past, inspire and produce writing that imagines it for the future, produce A Literary Companion to the Coast Path, and create winter walking-and-writing festivals in coastal communities to bring off-season revenue.
