The patriarchal path of agrarian change: an account of its development and the impact on female labour force participation in India, Pakistan and Turkey

This Challenge aims to explore the patriarchal path of agrarian change and its role in explaining gender gaps in labor force participation in India, Pakistan, and Turkey. It seeks to forge a new field for interdisciplinary gender and development scholarship and demonstrate that sustainable development and greater gender equality require priority given to gender gaps in non-agricultural paid employment.
