Health, Wellbeing and Rugby in Schools

This Challenge will drive health education and activity amongst school children in Wales, building on the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) HUB programme that partners with schools to increase participation in Rugby[M[1]  and its associated positive community and social impacts. The vision is to build a platform that is transferrable across a range of sports that utilises the HUB model to engage children, parents/ guardians and teachers to adopt healthy lifestyles and attitudes to carry into later life as well as across their friend and family support networks[M[2]  and their communities.
