Empowering women through entrepreneurship: Learning from experiences in the Arab context

The challenge concerns gender divisions in society and the marginalisation that creates. Women have the capability to transform society in positive ways, but in many parts of the world they struggle to make a difference. The aim of this challenge is the empowerment of women through participation in entrepreneurial activities, particularly in countries with socially restrictive practices.
